the indian cricket teams performance recently in the Oz nation doesnt teach us to play safe when average age of team is above 28 years.
Ponty Chadha , must have watched the cricket tour with profound interest.
Because he hadnt learned what cricket team's performance doens teach us.
He should have played safe too.
just being loyal to BSP wouldnt have gotten any worse than this for him.just like indian teams performance.
The IT raid on chadhas and haul of 125 crore of hard cash just days before the first phase of polling in UttarPradesh potrays even clearer picture.
Chadha , the liquor baron of UP allegedly sold liquor above the MRP.he wouldnt have done that without paying BSP(mayawati) her not so fair , fair share of the loot.
and he did that with 100% loyality. he was rewarded for it too. many hundreds of prime land in noida and greater noida, couple of earlier state owned sugar mills doesnt come cheap.
Then came the election time.BSP wanted to buy votes. A phone call to Ponty Chadha to arrange the dough. With hauled up 125 crores which was meant to buy votes, even at Rs 1000 per vote , BSP would have bought 12.5 lakh votes. thats 8% of the eligible votebank of UP. whopping 8% . enough to turn the table around according to media surveys.
so, congress got a hint(sniff). ruling at centre , it ordered IT raids on Chadha(the turnarond guy) with his precise whereabouts and his money.
you cant deny , congress is good at sniffing out money.
so they did ordered IT to raid Chadha, confiscate the amount......
Now with 12.5 lakh votes less for BSP , congress has a fighting chance again with SP.
thats strategic use of resources(IT) as the call it.or rather liquor quashing politics . atleast its better than caste politics.
But congress is keeping its fingers crossed.
SP could very well eat into those 12.5 lakh unbiased(unbought ) votes. its still a fight we all will be glued till the result day in march.
But lesson for chadha , ....
"EVEN CONGRESS (THOUGH NOT RULING IN UP BUT AT CENTRE) DESERVES THEIR NOT SO FAIR , FAIR SHARE ."
kartik chawla
(for efficient and strategic political allaince of india)
